Saina, in a video she posted on Twitter, thanked Rathore for nominating her for the challenge and remembered the time she used to crave to play for five more minutes.”I would like to thank Rajyavardhan sir for nominating me for #5MinuteAur. This is a wonderful initiative because in India where sports is getting better and moving ahead and that we have so much talent, I want to tell my story,” Saina said in a video on Twitter.”In my childhood when I started playing badminton during the summer camp, I always used to tell my parents that I want to play for five more minutes. I think because of that I have been able to reach this level today, because of their support and because of my will to play for five more minutes and get better and win more tournaments.”We cannot really gauge the amount of difference five minutes can make in somebody’s life because like I said, I am here because of it and I have been able to achieve so much, only because I wanted to play for five more minutes,” Saina concluded.I would like to thank @Ra_THORe sir for this initiative #5MinuteAur #KheloIndia2019 .. Rathore, an Olympic medallist in shooting, played table tennis with both hands to encourage people to talk about their childhood memories of sports when they would ask their parents to give them five more minutes to play.Rathore posted the message on his social media handles to promote the Khelo India Youth Games which start Wednesday in Pune, Maharshtra. The 12-days sports carnival, beginning from January 9 to 20, will witness over 10000 participants from 29 states and 7 union territories.Rathore, one of the fittest ministers in India, tagged Virat Kohli, Saina, Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan to share their stories.”Remember when we used to play in our childhood, that was the exact time when our parents would remind us of our homework.
