Even though arguments rarely occur during these times, the two programs were ready for war early in the morning.During Michigan State’s tradition of walking the field, some of Michigan’s players refused to get out of the way.In the Spartans’ statement from Michigan State Athletic Communications Associate Director Ben Phlegar, he said the Wolverines were granted access to go on the field as long as they left during the tradition. Obviously, that deal was broken on Saturday.Statement from MSU football on the pregame issue with Michigan. Fortunately, this incident wasn’t harmful in any way.Nonetheless, both teams should be respectful of each other’s traditions and schedules.
