Former Tottenham man Benjamin Stambouli could leave PSG after only 12 months

first_imgFormer Tottenham midfielder Benjamin Stambouli wants to stay and fight for his place at Paris Saint-Germain.The midfielder joined the French champions last summer in a deal which saw him leave White Hart Lane for £6million.But since making the move the 25-year-old has failed to nail down a starting spot and there is talk he is ready to leave after just 12 months in the French capital.Real Betis have shown a strong interest in signing Stambouli on loan, while clubs in France and Germany are interested too.However, according to Le Parisien, the Frenchman has told PSG that he wants to stay and fight for his place.The club’s sporting director, Olivier Letang, reportedly told Stambouli earlier in the summer that he can leave if a good offer comes in.But the former Spurs man believes his fortunes can change in Paris and that he can impress PSG’s new manager Unai Emery.
